I have 2 new ideas / announcements for future postings;
First - I'm going to start posting the minutes from each meeting here - that way, if a member missed a meeting for some reason they can stay caught up with us by reading about the goings-on from the club meeting they missed. And for those of you that may be online followers only, you can see what w...Read Full Post »

Hello to you all,
I've been a collector for 40+ years and never attended a national show. I must have looked like a 10-year old on Christmas Morning as I entered Devos Hall in Grand Rapids on the first day at the opening bell. To say things went well, is an understatement. Randy is our VP and acts as President when I disappear every wnter to Florida. He also holds a full-time job. Needless to say, he is one very busy individual. Consequently, I will act as the web site manager to give Randy a bit of breathing room. I have not figured out how to offically change the site manager name, so for the time being when you see a posting by "Randy", it may in fact be me, Bruce D., your humble President.

Check out the news articles that have been published about our local club so far!
The Daily News first did a story on us when we had just started back in July of 2010.
The Buzz - which is a side publication of the Daily News - did the recent one dated Feb. 28, 2011.

Well, here's goes our attempt to put our Greenville Stamp Club online and into the 21st century!
I was advised by some good friends to put our club on the 'net so people could find us....so I took their advice.
I/we hope you will eventually find something of interest here and maybe - just maybe - we can reach some of you locals and get you to visit us at our club meetings!
I don't have much to put up here yet regarding stamp-collecting ...Read Full Post »
